The food was delicious! If you haven't tried Shakshouka, this is the place to try it. And the coffee was well done. Curtado was delicious and their drip was the best I've had in a long time. Sylvia and Rosa provided awesome service. We were a party of 10 and a little baby and they were so patient and kind. We are on vacation but will definitely stop here next time we are in town.

Stopped by Carmela Coffee recently and had a really good experience. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe and didn’t feel rushed at all. Service was great—everyone was friendly and checked in just enough without hovering. It felt pretty genuine, which isn’t always the case at busy coffee spots. I ordered a coffee and some food, and both were solid. The coffee tasted fresh and well made, and the food came out quickly and actually had good flavor (not just your typical basic café stuff). Portions were fair too. Overall, just a reliable spot with good food and people who seem to care about what they’re doing. I’d go back ☕️

Carmela’s Coffee is a very cute café with beautiful decor and a really nice atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly, and the place has a cozy vibe that makes it a great spot to sit down for breakfast or coffee. Our experience was a bit mixed overall, but everything tasted fresh and high quality. The matcha latte had a nice earthy flavor and tasted good, but it was unsweetened and came in a to-go cup instead of a mug, which was a little disappointing since we were dining in. We also tried one of their specialty fruity teas — the flavor was definitely there, but it wasn’t sweet at all. Thankfully there was sugar on the table so we were able to adjust it to our taste. For food, the salmon toast was delicious and fresh, but I would have liked a bit more cucumber for better balance. The shakshuka was very good, flavorful and nicely cooked, and probably our favorite dish of the meal. Overall, Carmela’s is a lovely little café with great ambiance, quick service, and good quality ingredients. A few small details could be improved, but it’s still a nice spot worth visiting.

Cute space for a coffee shop. The breakfast egg sandwiches were good- something so simple but hard to find and the coffees were good as well. The coffee cake was my least favorite. The Nutella croissant wasn’t too bad just too much Nutella for me which is kind of weird for me to say bc I love Nutella. It is overpriced though, all these up charges sneak up on you and it’s not mentioned when you’re ordering. It was our first time here but when I looked at the itemized receipt I realized how things quickly added up. Good place to meet up or even study if you don’t need absolute quiet.
